Terry David Craig
Of Almond, age 73, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020, with his wife beside him trying to make him comfortable at all times. He was born on July 9, 1946 to Warren and Maxine (Cook) Craig in Milwaukee, WI. He was a loving son, husband, brother, companion, son in law, riding partner or group leader/planner. He married Darlene on August 12, 2000, also known as Nurse Ratched.
Before even graduating from high school he was working for International Harvester, then Waukesha County, and then he moved to the center part of state.
Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, watching in person or TV tractor pulls. During spring to late fall he was motorcycling everywhere and anywhere. Fall to early winter was hunting for venison. Early years during winter were for snowmobiling and he would fit some country music concerts in some place.
HE LOVED TO BE AROUND PEOPLE!!!
People would always come to him for advice about their motorcycles, snowmobiles, or other engines or motors. He would solve their problems most times or would get answers for them. Even on motorcycle trips, something would fall apart and he would try to fix and continue ride. At the end people would find him in his wheelchair and ask for answers. Playing cribbage during Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with in laws. MEN AGAINT WOMEN...
ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING IN HIS SHOP TO KEEP BUSY.
HIS MIND WAS ALWAYS WORKING EVEN WHEN SLEEPING!!!!
Terry belonged to 2 HOG chapters, many guns clubs, archery clubs, WTA club. There were so many things Terry loved to do. Leader of the Chicken Run with an ICE CREAM STOP a MUST..
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Warren, mother Maxine, father- in- law, Frederick V. Kauzlaric, mother-in-law Helen P. Kauzlaric.
Survived by wife: Darlene, and a lot of FRIENDS AND RIDING COMPANIONS.
WITH 30 KNEE SURGERIES, 6 TO 7 SHOULDER SURGERIES, BACK SURGERY, HEART SURGERY, 2 WRIST SURGERIES, DIFFERENT INFECTIONS, DOCTORS, AND THIS. FREE OF ALL THIS NOW!!!! As Terry would or has been saying "I am tired of the pain, suffering and the doctors. I just want to die!"
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.
In lieu of plants/flowers, Terry would have asked that a donation be made to King Veterans Home, Wounded Warriors or another Veteran's Charity in his name.
