Of Waupaca, age 80, passed away on September 19th, 2021. Born in Green Bay March 10, 1941 to the late Edward & Carol (Struve) Maus. Eldest of 13 children. Many happy summers spent at Casey Lake Campground in Ogdensburg, WI. She enjoyed the area so much as to move her family to Waupaca after receiving her nursing degree. Joyfully employed by the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI, until her retirement. An active member of The First Assembly of God church, volunteering many hours there.
She opened & ran Grammas Barn crafts for several years. Always a plate of homemade cookies on the counter for customers and the many grandchildren. Jane loved to garden, canning & freezing her bountiful harvests, as well as sharing with family & friends. Especially zucchini! She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting & sewing. The grandchildren always had quilts, hats, mittens & scarves. Jane liked to spend time with family, especially the grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Survived by her children and their families, Jill Borkowski and her family, Lindsay Breitzman, Ashlay (Aaron) Crist, Alyson Breitzman and Logan (Brian) Haufschildt. Jay Adriaenssens and his family, Nicole Adriaenssens and Taylor Adriaenssens. Jodi Adriaenssens and her family, Danielle Adriaenssens, Jayme Adriaenssens, Jordin Gilbertson, Branyne France and Jayce Adriaenssens. 3 stepchildren and several great grandchildren. Also, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband and father of her children, John Adriaenssens, husband Charles Chivers Sr., son-in-law Michael Borkowski, step son Charles Chivers Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 12 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 1420 Berlin Street. The visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
