Earl C. Hill

Earl C. Hill Of Waupaca, age 83, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, from complications of COPD. He was born in Randolph, Vermont on December 6, 1939 to the late Howard and Ida (Anderson) Hill. Earl was a veteran of the US Army and served from 1959 until 1962. He later became an accomplished welder and fabricator. Earl retired from the Waupaca Foundry in 2002. He liked to garden, hunt, fish and camp. He also, along with his family, backpacked part of the Appalachian Trail. He is survived by his wife: Patricia; daughters: Bridget (significant other, Chris Stanlis) Hill, Jane (Randy) Thomas-Hansen; grandchildren: Tabitha Spencer, Erica Wilson, Michael (Samantha) Thomas, Grayson Hill-Boll, Amber (Tony) Distasio, Christopher Thomas, three great grandchildren: David Doyle, Levi and Sawyer, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Wilson and Son-in-law, Brian Thomas. The Graveside Service will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Emmons Creek Road, Waupaca.
