Of Wild Rose, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2018. Howard was born in Goshen, IN on March 13, 1926 to the late Vern and Amanda (Stall) Lewallen. Howard was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army as a Tank Gunner. He loved his family time, hunting, fishing, riding his four wheeler tractor, the great outdoors and farming.
He is survived by his children: Ken (Debbie) Lewallen of Wild Rose; Dallas (Therese) Lewallen of Berlin; Gail (William) Schulke of Pine River; Carl Lewallen of Wild Rose; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Henrietta, grandson, Thomas Lemke Jr. and 11 brothers and sisters. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank the Wild Rose Hospital and Thedacare Hospice for their care of our dad. The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Wild Rose Lions Building 1100 S. Main Street, Wild Rose.
