Joanne C. (Gares) Jones

               Joanne C. Jones, age 77, of Waupaca, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Crossroads Care Center of Crystal River.  She was born on October 5, 1939 to the late Frank and Lorrette (Watts) Gares.

               She is survived by two sons: Phillip Jones and Charles (Michelle) Jones; grandchildren: Daniel and Cassandra; daughter-in-law, Laurie Jones and grandchildren: Inez and Mitchell; a brother, Frank Gares, other relatives and friends.  Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Roger C. Jones and a son, David Jones.

               The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca.  Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will take place next to her husband at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
